Backup and Data Retention Policy
Backup and Data Retention Policy for Tracker Pro SAAS Database as defined, endorsed, controlled and supplied by Stealth System Ltd.
1. Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to define the backup and data retention policies for the Tracker pro database, thus ensuring the protection, retention, and restoration of valuable data.
2. Data Types
Tracker Pro Database covers a wide range of data types including business-critical data, sensitive data, and confidential data.
3. Policy
3.1. Backup
a. Tracker Pro Databases will be backed up at least once every week using a full backup strategy which will be retained for 6 months.
b. Additionally 7 day, any point in time rollback backups are available for a full 7 rolling day period so will be available to be restored for current day (0) - 7 days.
c. Weekly backups are held in a controlled environment with a 6 month destruction policy.

3.2. Restore
a. Tracker Pro Database restore testing will be conducted periodically on a sample of databases and records to ensure integrity
c. A disaster recovery restore can be undertaken upon customer request whereby any weekly backup or any point in time database snapshot within the last 7 days can be fully restored to the primary customer environment or a secondary Tracker Pro environment (which can be useful for integrity checking and differencing) depending upon the needs of the customer.

Individual record recovery can be achieved , recovering records from any weekly backup or any point in time database snapshot within the last 7 days through requesting a recovery, database differencing and targeted record recovery scripting operation depending upon the needs of the customer. This element carries an admin charge.
3.3. Data Retention
a. Tracker Pro Any Point in Time backups are retained for a rolling minimum of seven (7) days.
b. Tracker Pro Weekly Backups are retained for a rolling 6 month period.
c. If the data is deleted accidentally or through malicious actions, the backup will be used to recover the data.
d. Data that is no longer required will be deleted based on the retention period defined in the data retention policy.
e. Any backup files that are no longer required will be deleted.

4. Backup Summary
The above policy defines backup and data retention policies for the Tracker Pro Services database, which ensures the protection, retention, and restoration of valuable data. This policy will be reviewed regularly and updated as required. It is the responsibility of all authorised personnel to comply with this policy at all times.
